Dipeo Tsa Rona Series

Part One profiles Katlego Zwane (@reeds.by.chunk), a jewellery designer and manufacturer. Katlego talks about the strength and courage cultivated in her by her mother and credits that as the force that motivates her to succeed.

Part Three of the series profiles Liso Mdiya (@lissonedibles), a self-trained cook and food blogger. Although Liso studied to become an architect, she shares that her love for healthy, clean food, as well as her interest in crafting things, led her to a passion for cooking that she now pursues. 

Part Four follows Tshepo Mosoeu (@tshepomosoeu), a typographer and creative director. Tshepo opens up about the conflicting aspirations at war within him. He shares his experience in deciding what to act on in the present and what he sacrifices for the future. 

Part Five profiles Nonhlanhla Kheswa (@nonhlanhlakheswa), a fashion designer and stylist. Nonhlanhla talks about watching her grandmother (a dressmaker) as a child create garments and the influence that had on her decision at a young age about the path she would one day take.

Park Six of the series profiles Bongani Dube (@realbonganidube), a drummer and saxophone player. Bongani's decision to pursue his passion was met with doubt and even condescension from many around him. He shares how his love for his craft and his dream of being the best pushed him through the noise toward his dream.

Part Seven follows Tebogo Mhlauli (@zodiamoon), an actress. Tebogo opens up about her experiences as a child performing on various stages. She shares two stories from her childhood that pointed to the direction she would later go in with her schooling and professional career.

Part Eight profiles Letlhogonolo Masipa (@hlogi.za), a film director. Letlhogonolo talks about the positive experiences he had with family and friends that gave him the courage to pursue his dreams.
